A question concerning the antiquity of the first bronze seals in China

【Abstract】Seal carving is one of the great art forms of China, but one that is less known in the West. Over the centuries, Chinese authors have carried out many studies of the history and styles of seal carving. One question that remains unanswered to this day is when seals started to be used in China. This article addresses one aspect of this doubt.
